ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Payments Options

Persons desiring to enroll with Cornerstone as a student must complete an application with the office of the Registrar. Application forms may be complete online  It can also be requested from the school office via mail, telephone, or e-mail. The online application is condensed to get us started but this form is to be completed and mailed to the school along with a photo of the applicant and the proper fees. The purpose for the photo is for collection for the school album. Students who will register for the "Distance Learning Program," may do so at any time during the school year. 

 

Each applicant will be individually evaluated based the transcript and life and ministerial submitted. On the application, each applicant must sign the testimony of having accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his or her Savior. If you have not accepted Christ and still want to study, you must accept the fact that the Holy Bible is the sole authority under which we built our courses.

 

Applicants must also send a transcript of all previous high school, college or seminary work to the office of the Registrar. A transcript request form can be download from the above mentioned website. 

 

Procedure for Admission

To be admitted, all candidates are required to submit an application package. The application package should include the followings:

  1. Complete the CCU admission application and include the nonrefundable application fee of $50.00.

  2. Include a photo for the purpose mentioned above-family photo is ok. If the student desires a school ID, the fee is 15.00 and the same photo can be used as well (optional).

  3. Sign the application and stated that you have read the Statement of Faith.

  4. Submit a copy of your high school diploma or show evidence of a high school equivalency diploma (GED) and/or transcript (s) from other colleges, universities, or seminaries and can be download from the above website.*

  5. Submit two recommendation letters (form supplied online as well).

  6. Submit a resume of your life and ministerial experience if seeking L/E credit (Undergrad only).

  7. Doctoral applicant must submit a ten page essay which includes a three page autobiography consisting of a one page brief personality sketch, two pages describing vocational experience and ministry intentions, and four pages relating to the applicant's view of Christian ministry. 

Payments of application and tuition can be made by check, Money Order, or credit card online or in person.

 

Applicants who desire a degree but lack a high school diploma or GED will be required to give evidence of a GED or HSD within eight (8) months from the date of their first class. Cornerstone has an accelerated HS Diploma program available for those who are interested. This requirement does not apply to any candidate who is 50 years old or older. After 8 (eight) months, courses completed will revert to audit status and credit will not be issued.
