What is Accreditation?

What is Accreditation?

Accreditation is a voluntary process by which primary and secondary schools, colleges, universities, and professional schools submit themselves to an comprehensive review process by an outside agency to ensure quality and institutional integrity.

Accreditation is basically an organized way of determining the acceptance of credits or degrees from any particular institution. Accreditation does not guarantee quality education nor does it guarantee acceptance of transfer credits by other institutions. This process is strictly at the discretion of the acceptance institution.

Since academic recognition is a continual process, the administration, faculty and staff of CCU has made a commitment to provide the highest quality standards of education without compromise, to the Biblical and theological philosophies of Christianity based on our passion, and respect we have for quality education. Thus, CCU does need a government or non government to force us to provide the best service we know how.

Degrees offered by Cornerstone are biblically based  in nature for ministry and professional training purposes.  We're (any other school for that matter) not in a position to dictate, suggest, or guarantee degree earned form CCU or any other school will lead to employment. No guarantee is made, implied or explicit in any form except what noted here.
